This year I am presenting at fewer venues, but with more people. I have one presentation with our library coordinator, Pam, and another high school librarian, Amy. Then I have a second presentation with a middle school librarian, Cheryl, and an elementary librarian, Jennifer. The first presentation is how we use the TexQuest resource EBSCO Learning Express. The second presentation is about research and using AI at all grade levels.
So I missed the Region 10 deadline which was late in the summer because that library conference is next month. However, before school ended last year, Region 11, TCEA and TLA were already accepting proposals. I figured we would be invited to Region 11 and TCEA. To be honest, I did not have much hope in TLA. They have not accepted our proposals in the last few years. And to my astonishment, we were accepted at TLA, not TCEA this year. I was really bummed about TCEA, and so surprised by TLA. Then we were also invited to present at Region 11. So I will be presenting twice at each conference.
So our EBSCO presentation is "One Resource to Rule them All."
And our research presentation is "Inquiry, Research and AI . . . Oh My."
Tune in for the full presentations soon! Hope you have a great day!
